Exhaust selection for sound only
I've read and listened to everything I can find about exhausts but still I'm not sure where to go.
I'm looking for a deeper/meaner sound than stock and I'm not concerned about adding power. I want to assume that the Nissan engineers know what they are doing and keep the stock headers and cats. Also, I want to stay with single and not go to a dual system.
Just a better sound, no risks, don't want to lose the low end torque.
Nismo seems obvious but it might not be enough of a change to be worth the cost.
I noticed that Borla has a single system but all the talk here is about the TD.
Any ideas?
Thanks

well, if the Evo 2 didn't have those big cans I would do it too. But Zivman's car sounds F***n awsome. Go and hear it on the sound clip stickies on pg4. Zivman your car sounds amazing, I mean that one video where you pull away on the highway, mmmm mmmm, keep it up dude! Yeah so Evo 2 ain't bad. My dad wants my exhaust to look stock, but with enough convincing he agreed to let me get the injen ses straight tip, which sounds pretty damn good. IMO, Louder is Better! Good Luck Ken350z!!!
I've heard that before but I think it was on my laptop and it sounded kinda weak. But on the computer with the 5.1 speakers it sounds much better. Some very low sounds coming through. Did you notice some rasping?

Couple clips to show difference between Greddy and Injen exhausts:
Clips to show the difference:
