i've heard only like 3-4 hp at the wheels on the high end, 'cause of the bypass valve...i'd go with the injen CAI or the popcharger...they cost way less and give you more hp...the max gain at the wheels for the injen is like 10 hp i've heard...i felt a difference when i put mine on

Not sure where you got info about the bypass valve causing a loss of hp. Bypass valve should have zero effect on power.

Pretty gutsy to leave that bypass valve off in Houston! Don't you guys usually flood pretty othen (or at least get lots of heavy rain)?

I didn't have a bypass valve on my CAI and it rains like crazy here in Oregon. You just have to avoid driving through 2' deep puddles....not too tough.

If you have a Crawford Plenum or probably other aftermarket Plenums a CAI will make you lose HP instead of gaining. Dyno proven....I am getting the JWT Popcharger and selling the AEM or using it for a Toilet paper holder. Not downing the products they have good products just not good for my setup.

actually i havent had any problems so far. I live in Austin actually, and i visit Htown on the weekends. I avoid water puddles like the plague! It messes up the wax!

Anybody have the instructions for installing the NISMO headers? Maybe a link to a PDF somewhere? Do you need to disassemble half the motor, or can you just bolt them on from underneath?

ThankZ,

they dont come with the headers...

basicly have to referance the shop manual...

have to remove a water pipe and un-do the steering shaft...

its pretty straight forward once you have the car up in the air...
