use a flat head screw driver to unclip them. Use a monkey wrench to get it off. Careful not to break off the actual sensor.. 100 bucks a pop.

Yes. The clips for the oxygen sensor wires can be removed ( blue on the driver side, green on the passenger side). Unclip the two wires next to the blue and green things. The clips are just a bend clip. Pull the black tiebacks in the upper left and right in the photo. Now the wires hang. You can separate the black-blue connectors, and white-green connectors with a simple squeeze and pull.

With the cat out and on the ground, remove the oxygen sensor. Use a little liquid wrench and let it sit for 5 minutes. There’s a special long socket with a cut out at the top for the wire. If you don’t have one, a regular wrench will do.

Stupid question...does the RSR eliminate the cats? I want to get one, but I want to pass emissions in CA.

Thnx

No the RS*R is just a cat-back exhaust system. It connects after the y-pipe so really it should be called a y-back. I dont live in CA but you should pass with no problem since it does nothing to the emissions.

I thought we had some sharp people here who should have caught my error. It should be:

blue on the passenger side, green on the driver side
