OK guys, I give up...
I've been searching this forum for the past 2 hours and still haven't figured out which intake to buy. Every one LOVES their intake, and they all claim theirs is the best, but I guess it really depends on what you want.

As far as performance, I don't expect much...
All I really care for is sound, I don't want it to be too aggressive.

So basically, my question is, which intake has more of a whistle sound?

and it would be really helpful if someone could tell me the difference in sound between the Nismo, Injen and the JWT

the CAI's make a swooosh suction noise when you blip the throttle...
then you can it to high RPM it gets louder... then when you WOT its explosive...

Not too long ago this was a performance forum not a what sounds cool? forum. That said, consider intake design, quality of materials, long, short, cold or warm. Then make your choice.

 

Yes, Pop Charger only. I listened to it again and it kind of sounded like I had a blow off valve.

hey guys i have an injen intake you dont hear anything but exhaust
injen is just for performance not sound

 

I can't hear any whistle at all from the pop charger in my ZedR. Only if u add exhaust or test pipes then the noise will become aggressive.

 

Injen is probably the worst CAI. It has lost power on many cars. Especially if you have a plenum. Should have researched that one first. Here is the most recent Injen losing power post.
