Keep your tune between 12.5-13 A/F for optimum results.

I'm w/o a tune and I know that when I did the spacer install I immediately felt power all over, same with headers and hfc and other breathing mods.....I guess I'm curious though at what point the a/f become too affected by the breathing mods.

But those without a tune that have mass modes will lean out even more in the range of 14.XX and will make less hp until they are properly tuned. Get it now?

somewhere around 0.2 A/F shift.
It won't make a difference at 12.5 A/F but if you are already in the high 14's, it will.
----------
On a different note.
Everyone going to Church Automotive tomorrow. If you plan to install a plenum mod while at the shop, try to make accomodations before leaving.
1) Remove your strut bar before going. Time flys when you are at the dyno shop. Whatching cars get dynod. Chatting with friends and stuff. Save as much time as you can. You can always bring the strut bar with you so you can reinstall it.
2) BYOT Bring your own tools. Download a copy of the installation manual from the Motordyne website and study it before leaving. It will save you considerable time bending over the engine bay.
I'll have tools too but don't rely on me because i will be busy with dyno installations. --> You can use my torqe wrench though.
See you at the Dyno!

Tony...Would you recommend a Long Tube CAI to be combined with a MREV V2, and the 5/16 spacer??

Oh, and I 2nd the other G35 Owner helping you...This mod will help your car, and yes the testing was on a non rev up 287 BHP 350Z with the MREV++...which for the record, differs from the MREV+ by Tony simply porting and polishing 2 more of the 6 intake ports on the lower manifold of non RevUP motors...and obviously some secret squirrel stuff he's keeping secret...as he should.

It typically goes up more often than it goes down. Any shift is typically within +/- 0.2 A/F.

I was going to put the quote in my sig..
And technically that dyno does not show the long tube losing power, because there was no stock baseline run, the long tube was the baseline.
But still i do understand Long Tube CAIs are not recommended for these mods, i just want a blatant quote from Tony
