Cannot be London because it have GMT, perhaps you meant Samoa which have GMT-11?

OK! Here it is!

Attached or linked images dont always seem to work well on this board. This discussion board software has bugs in it.
Copy and paste this link into your adress bar to view it if it isn't automatically shown below.

Or better yet, click on it. It wont work most of the time, but if you then click on the adress bar and hit return, it will work.

Are you guys having any trouble viewing the above image?
Its uploaded to the Motordyne site but it still seems to display here only about 1/3 of the time. ...At least on my browser.

Try hitting the refresh button several times and it may display.

Sweet! But now it looks like the 5/16 spacer lost power..

When we were at the dyno machine using the pointer we saw ~2 HP increase at about 5800 PRM. There were other minor variations at different points of the curve.

Hmm, I thought I remembered the spacer making some additional power...

In any case, when they added the spacer that is when the engine started pulling timing. (MREV 2 by itself did not cause pinging or timing to be pulled)

That's why I'm going to get engine management and a tune. I have a strong feeling that a good tune will make more power.

This is why I've been saying:

287hp guys: the best bang for your buck is just get the MREV 2 with no spacer.

300hp guys: wait for more results

interesting. You lost power when added the spacer?

No CAI or anything?

Could you post or relay the AFR for this MREV-2 only dyno?

Also, this is on REV-Up correct? Any reason to expect a differnt result for non-Revup - do you know if any dyno is in the works?

...hoping for better news.

Guys, you can look at the dyno charts more than one way.

On one hand, the MREV2 produced a higher peak HP and higher peak TQ number. But only slightly.

On the other hand, adding the 5/16" spacer beats the MREV2 in the top end.

It has a flatter HP peak and makes better HP up to the rev limiter.

Bottom line is:

MREV2 is the best bang for your buck.
MREV2 + 5/16" spacer is also very good and can benefit more than just the MREV2 if you get a tune

That is my take on it.

You cannot just say "OMG the 5/16" spacer lost power and that's that." That is true in one sense, but false in another.

Also, this is on REV-Up correct?
For the 100th time, NO. Please read the title of the thread.

****Disclaimer: I am not being urged by Tony to say these things in any way. This is MY take on the situation and if the 5/16" spacer sucked ***, I would gladly say so. ****

thanks for all the dynos and info wired 24/7..

i ordered the MREV2 but i don't think i'll get the spacer as it probably requires a tuning to get the max power out of it.. maybe later..

I'm very impressed with the results of the MREV2. Surprised it lost HP & TQ with the spacer, but with a proper tune i'm assuming all that can be sorted out.

Do you think an intake would make up for loss of hp & tq that the spacer caused with the MREV2? Would that results of varied that much or is this wishful thinking on my part?

In all honesty I think the JWT popcharger would have the best flow conditions to maximize the benefit from the whole combo. But it would also be prone to sucking in hotter air than the stock airbox.

I kept the stock airbox not out of concerns about $$$$$$ but mostly because I like the design.

...roger on that Wired. Bouncing through too many different threads...

Really appreciate your effort to get these results.

Though I would tend to agree with your conclusion, getting a tune just puts me more out of pocket and time.

Was the AFR any different than with the spacer? Could it have contributed to the timing change? Either way I guess a tune is the only way to find out.

Thanks
