Default check out for a sec

i did some searching on if i should buy the popcharger or injen CAI, people were saying buy the popcharger cuz its cheap and good for first cheap upgrade, other people were saying stuff about velocity and everything. Doesnt matter how much I pay for the intake so im going with the Injen, good choice? better than popcharger? id rather spend more for somethin good

The pop carger is THE BEST bang for the buck. If you upgrade to a plenum spacer later on, you may run into problems with the Injen.

Fundamentally you are changing the air filter on the car. The HP gains to be had from that are minimal as it is. Go with what you like, the increase in performance is negligable.

i had the injen for a long time but now its a popcharger.it looks better and the aluminum tubes soak up more heat then the popcharger.go with the popcharger, also it is a pita to clean the air filter on the injen.

If members disagree which is best, then starting another debate will not give a definitive answer.

Ok I did a search. I can't find anything stating the problem between Injen Intake and the Crawford plenum combo. Can someone please just state it in this thread?

Its been said that cai's and plenum spacers yeild little to no gains due to turbulence but one converted to short ram, thats a whole other discussion to begin with, also with very little documentation of hp gain.
