JWT Pop charger vs. AEM CAI
I'm bored so here goes. I've had both. The AEM looks really cool, but it's only about a foot off the ground when installed. If flooding is a possibility during rainstorms then I would not recommend it. It's also in an impossible location to get to easily when cleaning/oiling. Sounds good, but I didn't notice any real difference in sound when switching to the Pop Charger. For the reasons above and because the Pop Charger supposedly works better when other mods are in play, I switched. I honestly think that I lost HP with the AEM, as I felt a bit peppier once changed. My 2 cents. Good luck.

Well, that's nice. But I'm more interested in real numbers, if available.

Few if any members do before and after intake dyno tests. Consider the expense: $200 for a intake, the another $100 for a dyno test to see what it does or does not do.

both intakes will give you identical gains. difference, if any, is negligible. an intake is an intake is an intake.
as you can already see, the popcharger is insanely popular among Z drivers. but in the end, it's up to you.

get the JWT popcharger, works just as well for less. AEM, NISMO, and INJEN are just better looking thats all. it's your money, spend as you wish. decide whats more important to you, performance or looks.

I agree with all of the above. Unless you are looking to get rid of the stock MAF housing (such as I was and got the K&N typhoon which is awesome) then just go with the popcharger!
You really can't beat the price and to be honest any gain through the intake pipe will be minimal to say they least with out major dollars dropped into it such as putting a larger tube with a larger MAF and then tuning.
