just ordered motordyne 5/16" copper iso
After much time deciding, I decided to get the copper since it snows here.
intensepower has group buy going on right now so I got a pretty good price.
so the directions seem like i need loctite for the bolts, would a normal shop like pepboys or autozone sell this?
also, i read some where that i should not remove the harness to the TB otherwise it will have to be reprogrammed?
Thanks!

I just bought the ISO cold weather gaskets for my Kinetix SSV. Comes with all kinds of cool stuff for only $100. Not only do we get snow, but it's not uncommon to stay -25 or less the entire months of January and February.

here it is, some members advice, thats all. the instructions do say to remove the entire TB though, and i think many forum members have as well.

My experienece with the Motordyne MREV2, I know you said you got the copper for the TB: The instructions do state to use Loctite, mine didn't come with it, and Tony said not to worry about it, just use the correct torque. It's also okay to disconnect the TB harness, as long as you pull the battery cable FIRST, per the instructions. I didn't have to use the throttle learning procedure, and so far, no problems. And for what it's worth, I installed the CCV last December and have kept it closed ever since, driving all winter, and never experienced any icing effects. It appears that the engine has enough ambient heat to keep the TB warm enough not to ice. I like the simplicity of the CCV over the copper.
