Default mrev2 and 5/16 spacer

I have a 06 coupe and want to keep my warranty...i'm guessing the mrev2 and spacer voids the warranty?? is this true??.....I could possibly hide the spacer under the engine cover , but i heard that for the revup eng both are needed....sorry for the noob question...

Highly doubt they would void warranty solely based on the MREV2 and Spacer.
Also they would have to prove that the aftermarket parts actually caused a problem, I think you will be fine.

What does your warranty about modifications?

the modifications have to be directly related to the failure. there's a law somewhere. it's a good mod, you can't really go wrong with a spacer and MREV2. i have them on my 05 6mt.

It all depends on the dealer you go to. Some will void your warranty for the smallest mod. Just keep your stock parts around just incase you need to take the car in for something major. MREV2 is pretty stealth since its really a stock plenum that's been modified on the inside. The spacer....well thats the only visual part but you have to know what you are looking for.

i would say to avoid costly repairs they might pull the void warranty card on you. But honestly, the mod is very stealthy and unelss they are specifically looking for it, or working on your plenum then they wont notice. Any work done to the engine internals, or anywhere from above then you might want to swap it back in with the stock, but if they are underneath fixing something which most everything is under there, you'll be fine. JUST DO IT!
