Default Anybody do this intake mod on an '07?

Description:
Finally a performance intake upgrade for your new 2007 350Z's dual intake! The higher air flow increases engine efficiency and power across the board. The STILLEN™ Hi-Flow system includes the awesome new cleanable K&N cone filters, which incorporate a velocity stack, using the venturi effect to accelerate air intake speed for even more power. CARB approved, 50 state legal. Will increase intake sound (they sound awesome!).

haha... "performance intake".... damn thing already has dual intakes stock... how much more air could a NA 3.5L engine possibly need? I'd like to see a dyno comparison...

I tend to agree. Plus at $379 for a couple of K&N filters, well it seem a little steep. I'll bet they're gonna sell plenty of them though!

tremendous waste of money. a single popcharger is just barely worth imo at $100 or so. but for $400, no way. in any case, there arent many mods for the 07's so i can see some people buying it just because of that fact.

Personally I'm waiting for the fujita intakes. If I'm gonna buy an intake that doesn't do much in the power department it damn well better look nice when I pop the hood. Unless of course JWT or Injen come out with intakes that actually yield decent performance gains. However, that's just hypothetical, I'm not getting my hopes up.

i emailed Injen, the response was that they are currently working on a G35 for the intakes...didnt tell me a release date or anything.

I wouldn't jump on any intake for the 07 just yet. Wait till the rest of the other companies have released theirs first, then decide.

Not only do you get the two filters, but these swell Stillen plastic covers and these lovely connectors! Sorry, they're velocity stacks!

You know, I have no idea, but people will still buy 'em. Maybe they come with a 20 shot of coke!

well will someone determine what these stillens are really worth. i guess by subtracting the average market value of the 20 shots from $400.

Looks like I'll be going back up to school before a decent amount of 07 mods are released. I guess the Z will be waiting until next summer for some upgrades.

you can still buy exhaust, suspension, tint and wheels for your 07, if you want.

dont waste your money on Stillen intakes.
at the very least, wait for Fujita intake. Suppose to be roughly 300, but atleast it comes with 6061 piping so it will sound alot better and look alot better. Don't get me started on performance aspects....

How often do you check to see if Fujita has released theirs yet?
