I’ve had mine on for a good three months now and some superficial rust is starting to develop on of the flanges where it was tack welded but that to me is completely normal and not a big deal...sounds great looks great and fitment is dead on. My only complain has to be the tips that look cheap...I'm planning on cutting off the tips and welding something that’s looks cleaner, like the OEM tips that are kind of rounded off at the tips.

-my two cents

Whoever posted that Caswell **** may just have made my night. I think the cxlightning exhaust is a perfect solution for my college kid budget but I knew the salt and rust would be a problem. I think this VHT may be perfect to have it baked in under an autobody lamp (pay them 20 bucks to use their lamp or whatever)

That would have been me. =)

This stuff is awesome...they use it on the freakin space shuttle for re-entry so it will be fine on this exhaust. You can cure it two different ways-either on the car or off. After you spray it (with the clear VHT) you may notice a little of the shine is gone. No worries. AFTER it has cured, hit it up with a little chrome polish and it will look unvbelievable.

This exhaust will last a LONG time....especially now that you have done this.

You know it's cheap sh*t when you have to coat it to prevent rust.

I've had mine on for a few months and it's fine. Not coated. The tips look like **** but I probably need to polish them.

You know it's cheap sh*t when you have to defend it with everything you've got.

It appears you've nominated a cat for hater of the year.

Could you get some pictures with the rest of the car in it? Hard to to tell at these angles how the black exhaust fits with the whole car.

Check out the pics in my album..Plus I mean what more do you want, you can only see the exhaust from the rear. What sense in putting in a picture from the front? The Z is stock everywhere else, so if you wanted to see black rims or something, the car is bone stock, well expect for the Limo Tint on the driver and passenger window.

Default My Experience

I got my CX Lightning/ X02 / whatever the hell the thing is; the company on ebay i got it from didn't even name it. But i got it for 180 dollars brand new in a box. I opened it up and everything looked great no nicks or dings. Fitment was awesome no problems at all and it looks good. Sound was good not as loud as i would have liked but im probably getting test pipes. Any way for cheapness its a good option but i also like the stillen or the Agency power exhaust.
