Cats Pipes Install!!!
I install the Cat pipes and the car feels very Strong in Low and High RPM's... Its sound more louder but not too loud (for me). The CEL is not pup out w 100 miles already... but I'm gonna run a couple of hundred miles more to make sure!
P.S. you can get it with Mr. Luther, his email is jamisonl@msn.com...he have several types of pipes, mine are SS.

For price you have to email Luther, because I live in P.R. and shipping is more expensive... Here in P.R. is not ilegal and you can pass emissions W/O Cats, but with the rest of the Control Emission System (done it before). I believe in some States are ilegal.

So does an 02 sensor connect to these what is that wire?
Would this go behind borla headers and replace the cats here?
http://home.comcast.net/~wegetourmai...ID-537081.html
Give me a price I hate games and I want my car done this season not when it's raining
Headers are already ordered but they go up to the engine.

Ok so there's 10 different types, but what did you pay for your SS pipes without shipping?!
Come one bro, just tell us what your pipes went for! Jeesh!
BTW, nice looking test pipes.

Sweet man!
I've been waiting for someone to fab some cat replacement pipes to go the good 'ol straight through route
. Replacing the catalytic converters with a straight pipe is illegal cause you wont pass emissions tests. But I'm not concerned cause colorado law doesnt require me to check my emissions until after the vehicle is 6 years old. Web, did the sound get a lot louder, or just a few db's? I already am running a rather loud exhaust and am curious as to how much more umph it'll give the sound waves
. I just emailed lsdunique to get a set, can't wait! As for pricing, from what I've seen it's 160-250 bucks depending on the material/finish of pipe set you want. Plus shipping & tax if they apply it of course. Web, did you do the install yourself, if not what kinda shop did you take it to? I'm gonna try and scout a shop that will do it for me and won't give a crap bout replacing the cats, most shops won't do such a thing cause of the "illegalness" of it all. After I get my straight through pipes 2 replace the cats, then I can put spark plugs on the end of the exhaust to burn up the fumes 'n gas coming out the end, sweet!
hehehe. That setup looks sweet man, enjoy the added gains man!
L8te!

Ok guys, I'll try to answer some of your questions for my brother...
1. The price, as Juztin said it ranges depending of the material you want, but Luther is a very cool guy, make him an offer!!
2. The craftsmanship is incredible. This is a very well made piece of work!!
3. Gains, well, unfortunately, there was no time for a Dyno test and at the track rained, but I can assure you that the gains are simply incredible, I drove his car and it has so much torque at 2000 rpms that you can feel the power in your back.
I had to pay more attention to the rev limiter in his car because I kept hitting it! In fact I really think that the engine at 6200 revv's faster than the tachometer actually marks. It swallowed the gears really fast!
4. The car is louder now than before; it really brings out the 6 cyl engine noise. It sounds more metallic, but remember, this car has Borla without the resonators, so of course maybe there is the droning sound that some members hate. But at high RPM's it just sounds incredible, like a racing car. I love it, but is loud.
I'll try to make a sound clip later.
5. I ordered the pipes too, I have the stock exhaust without the stock resonator. I'll do all I can to take it at least to the track. I will post my results here. If I can't then I'll try to race my brother. We have raced before and we can compare previous races. This of course before I install the pipes so we can measure his gains and then mine.

My brother say it all!!!
I went to a Muffler shop to install... but if you are tools friendly you can do it yourself... around 30 minutes to install.
MaxHax: you can install it with your exhaust and headers... is better for you because you are Nitrous and later Procharger!!!
The O2 sensors are the stock ones, they are in the same position that in the cats
P.S. We gonna race today to see the difference in power!

I kinda like that....Mr. Luther
Anyways, here is the base pricing.
stainless - polished $250
stainless - un polished $220
mild steel
ceramic based coating $175
we used to sell mild steels for less, $160 but those were with 1/4 stamped flanges, and have since upgraded to strictly laser cut 3/8". Now any version comes with laser cut 3/8" flanges.
What do you guys think?
Webcarconnection has stainless un polished.....and hes the man

It looks like they integrate into part of the Y-Pipe and replace the cats and I'm down for a set for my Borla's but answer your mail before someone else makes them cheaper and I go with them.
I'm not good at patience, but I'm leaving to fill my bottle etc for the track so BBL.
Edit add
stainless - un polished $220
set one aside.
