Sounds OK. IMO, it sounds like the stk exh with the resonator removed.

Yeah it sounds somewhat like stock but there is a definite difference in the exhaust note.

Hey I noticed you ordered the crawford headers, which grade did you get, mild/stainless , and how much? Price I was quoted were EXPENSIVE.. so I turned to Borla. Also, how much do you think your midpipe helped?

Ricky,

I actually don't even have the headers yet. I put 50% down on them. Doug has been working hard on making all the intake manifolds that he hasn't really had time to sort the header situation out. I don't even know when he might be completing the headers. I was originally going to order Jet-Hot coated mild steel. You'd be better off calling him: 615-327-4159.

I installed the midpipe at the same time as the PE exhaust, so I can't really tell you how much it helped on its own, but the two together definitely added a lot of pop in the upper RPM. For $350, it was very much worth it.

Can you post any pictures of any of your exhaust parts? Also, does it still sounds the same without the intake manifold?

Please post pics and vids once you get the headers.

It doesn't sound very deep imo. As long as you like it that's all that matters though, cool man.

Nope, not a ricey sound at all. Trust me, here in NJ, we are VERY familiar with sorry-*** set-ups.

The intake manifold made no difference in terms of noise inside or outside the car. I have the "woo-woo" bolt installed; apparently without it, there is more of a sound that comes from the plenum.

If I can get my car up on the jack, I'll take an actual pic for you, but the midpipe is exactly the same set-up as the Top Secret one. Below are some pics of the PE SuperSonic. The last link is another .wmv file of the exhaust.

Im green with envy. You got the same exact exhaust setup I want with the long-tube headers, top-secret Y-pipe, and PE exhaust.

How much did you end up paying for the custom midpipe?
