Your scoop is hangin low compared to mine too - i dont think it really matters tho - just an fyi - i think u can adjust it down with those mounting tracks on both sides of the scoop (wish i could have had a translator for install... was totally wingin it, moved the horn around)...

My car has that really high pitched squeak whistle right when you get on throttle too, what is that?

 

I think that the filter inside the housing is just a K&N cone... I know GruppeM is an affiliate of K&N. the filter has a polished tip piece (I think it may be unique to GruppeM)

If you mean buy only the cf housing and the filter (no duct or scoop) - I would highly doubt it....
