^^^Thanks, I'm sure if I had TPs it would be louder, but probably still not V1 loud. I'd really like to find someone around ATL with the V1 to compare side by side.

Yeah im about to get my tax return and i think ive finally decided im gonna go with a motordyne setup i just cant decide now lol. I like the idea of the V2 with not much drone but i really like the scream of the v1. I have test pipes so im sure the v2 would be pretty damn loud so i might just flip a coin haha.

I know the definition of loud varies from person to person, but I have the V2 with ART pipes on my Z... and I don't think its all that loud. At least for me, I call it moderate.

Straight test pipes are clearly louder than the ART pipes.

I think I'm going to have to save some extra cash for this! I always love the "small" companies, always seem to be more 'attention to detail' when it comes to the product.

I have the V1 with the resonated XYZ-Pipe.

...going to get more clips when it quits raining or snowing every day.

Tony, if the V2 isn't loud for let's say, someone like me. Would there be any issues if I were to cut the side-branch resonators off and weld in a plate? This would turn them into V1, correct? If I would ever want to go back to V2, I would just take the plate off and re-weld the resonators.

Just an idea.

I've been running the Shockwave TDX v2 for a couple weeks now and the sound is just brilliant. The drone is gone from my 5AT and I'm loving it. Anyone want the v1 axle back? Let me know cause I'll never be putting those back on. Thanks Tony for finally coming up with a solution for the drone, that works on 5ATs and on FI cars. I can't wait to get the 3" primaries, dyno, and post up in the FI section.

Get both! You can switch from super loud with a rumble to more moderate and "clean" in 10 mins flat.

Hmmm while i defiantely love the shock and awe stares when i mash the go pedal on my V1 sometimes i have to think if its that loud in the cabin it has to sound like F@#%n speed boat to pedestrians.

Then i laugh to myself and say damn some hearing damage is worth the faces for ear shattering fun.

Now hurry up tony and hook me up with some of those art pipes lol.

Received and installed the Nova this morning. Fantastic is all I can say. Couldn't be more pleased. Great service (thanks Tony!) and packaging. I felt bad touching the thing with my grubby hands to get it installed! Install was fairly easy, it was harder getting the old one off. Took me about 3 hours, with a lunch break in the middle. The tone is absolutely perfect for what I was hoping for. From idle to about 3500 rpm it is heavenly deep, mellow and exotic. Perfect for my daily driver / occasional tracker. Video clip to follow.

Tony, I recieved my V2 the other day... Thank you SO much for such a high quality piece of engineering. Everyone is digging the "exotic" sound it has with stock cats. It's quiet not under load and when you give it gas, it just comes alive. Here are a few pictures:

Only issues:

Right axle-back is a bit longer, tried everything to bring it back in.
The muffler or collector (on the mid-pipe) sits extremely low. Anyway I can get this raised up a bit?

Thanks again man!

The tips are adjustable so you can balance them out on length and as for the mid pipe its made to give plenty of clearance for the chassis and is running on many dumped Z's and G's with no problem.
