im a little late to the party...very nice product there...i would def. have to hear this new sound so lets get some dyno runs going!!! would be a nice addition to my motordyne xyz, but i am curious to see how these perform and sound with a vortech z

 

The weight is negligible. As far as brackets, from what I have seen on the forums here, they don't seem to have a good track record.

 

Hey Tony, do you think alterations that come about from cam and headers upgrades will alter the frequency enough to the point where the resonator will adversely affect both performance and sound? When I installed cams on my old engine, the idle frequency was very audibly different.

 

The best way to know is to do a wide range of dynos and see the results.

I'm sure it will vary from car to car. Like an MREV2, the part can be exactly the same but the results will vary from car to car.

Note: Independent dynos will define the official ART pipe performance parameters. ... And many independent dynos (of varying mod configurations) will be flowing in soon.

 

Is there any rasp with the ART pipes? Or that flex pipe rattle sound, or hiss you normally get from test pipes? According to the dyno doesnt look like you lose TQ down low either lke with TP's right?
