I'll third that... they are sitting in my shopping cart on your site, Hydrazine, but I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Partly because of price (and a big part of that is because my +12 TE's come in Monday, and I still haven't broken the news about that to Mrs. gr8scott_o yet ). If I spend more mad money on car parts, I'll have some 'splainin to do...

but if they were a little less, well, I could be tempted.

agreed... absolutely no need for them to be polished if that helps bring down the price.

I'd also take a set that weren't polished if it lowers the price.

They're in such a spot that you really have to make an effort to see, sure it's nice polished, but really who's going to be looking at that area of your car?

Well, before everyone flips out over this polish v. no polish issue, let's not forget how many aftermarket companies sell polished parts. I view it as sort of a classy way of presenting the product, and while I might be in the minority on this one, I like it a lot. Am I justifying my purchase? Maybe, but it's still true.

But I totally understand the desire to save money and the lack of interest in having something shiny if nobody is going to see it - I completely understand. Just don't go nuts if Tony doesn't end up going this direction for cost savings. Awesome if he offers an option, but in light of all the other products out there offered in the same way (polished), we should be careful not to get to the point where we are demanding it of him.

polish vs no polish i dont care. i just want to hear them i think the price is good. after all the r&d that went into this makes it worth the price, and the sound will be just another plus.

Naga, im stoked to hear these on your stillen setup. Well have to compare them to my stillen with normal resonated test pipes in terms of rasp and such after you get them installed.

Me too, man. I've been wondering for a long time whether or not my rasp was a result of the HFCs or the True Dual Exhaust itself. While Tony mentioned there's no rasp with his Shockwave))) exhaust, I take that bit with a grain of salt, as I have never heard anything cause rasp with that exhaust . I'm hopeful, though. The technology difference between them should make for a very interesting comparison. I should have video and stuff all posted up on Friday after the installation and testing, so feel free to throw your video on that thread for comparison. That would be really, really cool to hear.

Hi Guys,

Here's another pre/post dyno!

BASELINE: REVUP 350Z with stock revup plenum, regular test pipes, Shockwave))) dual exhaust and full tune to regular test pipes.

The only variable here is switching out test pipes with ART pipes.

Enough test units have gone out for independent testing for a good ranging sample of dyno results. And everyone who has purchased independent dyno test units have a 100% money back guarantee of satisfaction.

Thank you for participating!

Several independent dynos should be coming in shortly.

Cool!

Are we also to take from this that those who have not yet purchased the ART Pipes will be ineligible for independent dyno discounts?

Possibly. It depends if more dynos are needed. Lets see the results are with the first wave.
