Hey guys, so I just purchased a used agency power single for the 08, but it does not include the clamp/bracket that holds the muffler to the car. I called various websites that sell agency power singles, and contacted some vendors here. They all don't carry it, and don't sell it separately. I even called agency power, and they don't have it. Any suggestions as to where I can get one or try calling? Do you guys think I should just have an exhaust shop fabricate one up for me? Thanks.

 

btw, if anyone could send me some detailed pics of the clamps, if you have any, that would be great. I only have the standard pic that agency power uses on their website, would be great if I could get a few more. If I have to get it fabricated, I would like the exhaust shop to make it similar to the original, thanks.

 

If AP wont hook you up then your sol.... It looks like a dealy with a hanger on it. Use your imagination..

 

take it to a shop and have them fabricate a hanger to the car. may be your best bet. hope it works out for you man.

 

Its a band really, with a hanger welded on. The only thing is that you will need it to be the exact diameter of the Ti muffler. So making one could be tricky.
What did they say at AP? They really should be able to help you.

 

^+1 Making one would be tricky. I know they make some hose clamps really big but that would look like shat.

 

I called vivid racing, and they called ap for me. He told me ap doesnt have them. I called them myself too, they said they do not sell it nor do they have extras. Is it really that difficult to fabricate one? I was thinking it could look like the clamp that hold the intake to the z tube, I don't know what its called. But something like that with a hangar on it....

 

no making one should be easy. ask to speak to matt at agency power. i do not see why they cannot get a clamp for you. also wtf did the person do with the clamp that sold you the exhaust. ap is the biggest can made for our cars. unless he was mounting a peice of power pole under his car he should of included this with the sale.

 

I'd like to hear you explain how you could easily make one? And AP should def be able to get one. I'd call back..

 

^^ Thats the thing. I thought AP could either get one for me, or make one themselves. Where does AP get their supplies from? I assumed they would have some extras or would be able to make them. When I called, after vivid racing called, they said they would not help me. I asked if I should get a random exhaust shop to fix one up for me, and he said that would be your best bet.....Do you guys know if the hks custom single bracket fits the agency power? Maybe ill call hks.

 

O and kram, he said he lost the clamp.

Alright, i originally asked some questions above, but got them all answered so I edited it. Last question, for those who have this single, do you know long wide the clamp for the muffler is? I know it would wrap around the middle of the muffler, wondering how wide I need to fabricate it. Thanks.
