Default Borla exhaust hissing sound

Please guys I would love your help on trying to find out my problem and what I need to replace to stop this annoying sound. It comes from the resonators. How do I make it stop? Would replacing it with just straight pipes work? Or what can I do or buy to fix the noise or replace the resonators. I appreciate your help guys!

Replace the resonators with straight pipe, and weld up all joints where the clamps are at. The H pipe is a big problem! I hated mine and swapped it out for a single...

or swap the h-pipe out for the resonated x-pipe by magnaflow - any shop can do it - part number 11385 from magnaflow.

make sure everything is bolted up tight at the flanges..my exhaust was hissing for a while...used some gasket sealer and made sure everything was tight and it was fine after that.

Now if I purchase that x pipe from magnaflow and replace it instead of the h pipe that the borla system came with, will it stop the hissing completely? Cause if it will I'm buying it today! I'm so sick of that hissing sound when I let go of the gas

the magnaflow x will not get rid of the hiss. I have the x pipe on my borla and the hiss is still there.

put the magnaflow in anyways. you will love the sound. i would have the exhaust shop check when they are welding everything in for your xpipe.

Definitely do the x pipe, it does get rid of some hissing and definitely any rasp if you have any at all.

I even had all the joints welded and got rid of the clamps. I think it's just the nature of the Borla system. I've just gotten use to it.
