HFC's have very limited rasp, virtually non existent, compared to test pipes. Should be okay with any that you choose.

butt dyno approved and slightly louder

I have crawford headers and nismo exhaust and I loved my exhaust note, these just added a little bit extra and "feels" like more mid range torque

Right. The gains will be minimal on a NA vehicle but would work well with a tune and exhaust.

The quick answer is this:

(VQ35DE)
http://www.fastintentions.com/produc...roducts_id=104

(VQ35HR)
http://www.fastintentions.com/produc...products_id=68

All the benefits of HFCs with a more stock-like sound and no rasp.

Rasp will also have a lot to do with the mufflers/resonators (if any) that are being used in your cat-back and the particular design of the system. For example, my Motordyne exhaust had no rasp with the Berks, but my stock exhaust sounds like $hit when cold (tons of rasp) and then slowly disappears when everything heats up.
