Intake Advantage With New Hood?
Since the scoop is way behind where the stock air intake opening is, you would have to make you own intake tubing and relocate the MAF, filter, etc.. It could be done but it is going to be rather expensive for all the more gain you might see out of it. Keyword here is might.
I think you are already taking advantage of the scoop. The air coming in through the scoop will keep the engine bay cooler and therefore the intake pipe will not absorb as much heat. This will keep the air coming in through your intake from becoming warmed while in the pipe.
I read that the scoop is functional, but I don't know if that means all three scoops or only the center forward facing scoop. If they all were functional looks like a guy could use the driver's side scoop pretty easily. I am also concerned about rain water. How did they keep rain out of other scoops?
Is the hood CF and/or FG? If so, your engine may actually run a bit warmer even if the scoops are functional, especially in idle and slow speed cases. The plastic is a poor heat conductor relative to the stock aluminum hood.

Doesn't Mine's make a "vent" that you can install in the bumper to act as a sort of ram air system? That would be much easier than rerouting any intake piping, even if you had the proper clearances.
