Anyway, passanger side is off. Question for the HR guys on the driver side, should I just disconnect the coolant lines on the driver side? They are just right in the way from what I see.
Why does the hardware kit have you remove the stock studs and nuts? Is it a pain getting the headers over the stock studs?
I didnt buy the hardware kit but I'm suprised the headers without the hardware kit didn't come with the extended wires. Their pretty much required.

denchan350gt put two additional resonators in his exhaust and it mellowed it out a lot. they also got rid of the annoying decel air sucking/ rasping noise that you get with an open exhaust on these headers. ive gotten used to the way my car sounds and i like it now, except for the decel sound. im thinking about trying some vibrant ultra quiet resonators just to get rid of that sound. i dont mind the rest of the rasp under acceleration at all. thats just what these cars sound like with a free flowing exhaust.

the real shitty part comes in when you notice that the collector flanges dont line up well with the y-pipe. the collectors are almost doomed to leak. thats the only thing i dont like about my headers. i figured out an easy way to fix it. im gonna add two more flex sections to the xyz pipe and have it rewelded with the flanged bolted up tight, but i havent had time to go to an exhaust shop and have it done yet.

I fabbed up a bracket between the headers (OBX long tubes) and used a ratchet strap to pull them in and put the bracket between them, worked great and never had a problem
While I was making the bracket I took .040 lock wire and tied it between there to prevent the header from hitting the car

the two in the back like that are the hardest to get to. the best thing you can do is get on it with a wrench. maybe use a backup wrench to help get it tighter, thats what i did.

The very back bolts were done from the underside with a normal wrench
