Yeah, all oem on my car and redlines. Did a set of sikky headers on an isf and I honestly think using bolts made it harder. Although, those headers were a much tighter fit than ppe's on a de or hr. So I don't even know if the headers would have fit had the studs been left in.
So I guess it's kind of a toss up. Fight to get them past the studs and then they go on like stock... or take the studs out and use bolts. having the studs was nice to help hold the gaskets in place and not have to wiggle things around to get all of bolts started...
you either play the wiggle game with the header to get it in place, or you deal with the gasket/header moving around until you get a few bolts started

Half way done installing these long tubes on an 06 revup, noticed one thing. Its a bigger pain in the d!ick than the HR lol. Got the stockies off and called it a night, didnt mess up an O2 sensor though so thats good
yep the passenger side? The second and third time doing it, your more relax and knowledgeable....each problem is taking with that smirk of "I know how"...

Do you guys wrap anything when doing these installs? I went a little crazy on mine and had some heat reflective tape I put on all kinds of stuff. Just wondering if anybody has had any issues
