Smile 350Z Invidia Exhaust System

Hello everyone,

I've been saving my money for a few weeks now and I'm finally going to upgrade my exhaust. I've been checking out the Invidia exhausts and really liking them. I wanted to get your opinions on how loud it would be with Berk HFC's. Also, what's the difference between rolled tips and regular cut tips besides the looks? Lastly, what do you guys like better, rolled or cut tips?

Here is what I'm looking at:

Dang, you're right. I like eBay because I know it's safe to make purchases from. I assume the site you gave me is also a good place since you bought from them before. Thanks for that. It sounds real good with ART pipes, by the way.

Wrote this shortly after I had mine installed. Mind you this is with oem cats.

I've since installed test pipes and it really opened up.

Thank you for your reply and info from your post. I've done a bit of research and people were saying that the exhaust is kind of quiet. Ugh, I don't know what to do. The exhaust sounds and look good but it seems quiet.

The car I have now used to have an Agency Power exhaust on it. I think that one sounds the best except it looks bad, in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of a single exhaust exit.

That's a shame, I was going to recommend the Tomei if you were looking for volume haha. The Gemini will be disappointing if you're expecting it to be loud, but what I love about it is that it has potential. Do what I did and switch out the cats with HFC or TPs, not only will it become significantly louder but there will be little to no drone at all.

As far as the tips go, I got the rolled titanium and I don't really like it.

I had test pipes and I replaced them with Berk HFC's. Do you think that will make a big difference? I feel like the HFC's will make it quieter. I'm currently looking at the Invidia N1 as well. What do you think about the N1? I'm so tempted to purchase the N1 right now but I don't want to regret it later and say I should have gone with the Gemini.

I have the Gemini mated to TopSpeed test pipes. I love the sound. I'm sure the Berk HFC's will sound even better and quieter.

I think I'm just going to go with this since I don't have test pipes anymore.

I don't have any first hand experience with the N1, albeit it was one of the exhausts I considered. From what I read, the Gemini is a newer and improved version of the N1. And for volume, you need to first decide what you're after OP. Do you want a subtle exhaust or an obnoxiously loud one? Because HFC will definitely be quieter than TPs

the n1 is technically a single exhaust with dual exits, the gemini is a dual

And the N1 is loud. I considered getting the N1 a long time ago.

I'm enjoying my invidia Gemini I got the rolled tips , non titanium. I like the stock look. I also have art pipes . Just go to you tube and search under beld capristo. When just cruising the exhaust is pretty quiet but you get a nice enhanced vq growl when you step on it.

Today I installed the N1 with a new Y-pipe... and, my god... it is sooo much louder than I thought it would be. I didn't think it would be too loud because of the HFC's but I was definitely mistaken. When I first got in and drove around, I felt like I couldn't hear myself think hahaha. I think the Gemini would have been perfect for my taste but I still love this new sound and feel. I'll make another post to give you guys an update on what it looks and sounds like now when I have the time. Thank you all for replying and helping me. Until next time!

Hello ! Greetings from Finland, i have a 2004 350z with Invidia Gemini cat-back exhaust. Now i´ve been thinking of purchasing " de-cat" pipes for the exhaust system. My question is will these example ebays cheap de-cats fit to gemini bolt-on ? I´ve read that "Berk" would fit good ? Or does this system need a specified de-cat pipes for fitment ?

-edit- Its not GEMINI sorry, it is the Q300 Catback System!
