Default Intake question/suggestion

I decided to start looking for an intake. Do you folks have any suggestions.

I have been noticing the basic 3:

AEM CAI
Injen CAI
JWT popcharger

Which one would you recommend. Install -> easy, med, hard, price, sound, performance, maintenance.

Would I need a shop to install these. If someone would let me know I'd appreciate it.

keep the stock and get a k&n filter....imo the stock airbox is the best setup for our cars....no loss of power, good throttle response, sucks cold air from the front inlet tube, its easy maintenance, lifetime filter, and its cheap....and no other intake has really proven to be all that great

dont waste your money on the aem/nismo. the gains i have seen do not justify the money spent.

popcharger is an easy install, gains have looked very good for the price

i love my injen. install is med if you go from under the bumper, hard if you follow the instructions and remove the bumper. there are no solid dynoes that show undisputable gains as this is a cai which cannot truly be simulated on a dyno but i believe it is similar to the jwt in gains. sound is nice too.

i think i will go with the jwt if it is good performance. for $130 you can't go wrong imo.

if that is an easy intall i think i will do that.

Stay stock and get thermotec insulation for the tube. Nothing is really proven to be any better and reliable.

I love my INJEN ... pretty easy 1 hour installation , looks and sounds amazing , little pricey compared to jwt... whatever you do - stay away from AEM..

popcharger, cheapest (other than K&N which IMO is questionable; basicly why bother) popcharger atleast give you appearance, it picks up from what IMO is a fine spot for cold air, but gives a smoother tube. dont expect huge gains, do it for appearance and sound. otherwise save the money altogether.

JWT Pop Charger easiest install and maintnense
NISMO CAI medium dificulty install and medium to main tain... includes WATER DIVERTER so if it rains you do not need to worry about sucking up excessive water..
AEM same as NISMO but does not include the water diverter
INJEN harder install / harder to maintain and you must clean them more than the other intakes due to the location of the filter...

Franken car is gonna be out soon i have one with a apexi filter. Steve went all out on this one i dynoed for him and gained 7lbs of torque and 5 hp at the wheels. The best part about the intake is its a cold air set up with real pipe no flexible hoses like injens, and no power loss through the rpms.
