TSB: Clunk Noise Question with pics.. - Warning Large Pics Inside
Hey guys,
I recently bought my Z and herd a strange clunk noise from the front suspension when backing out and down a slope and sometimes in other conditions. Anyways, did a search and found the TSB for the upper link bolts.
I jacked up the Z and and looked at what I thought I had to loosen one turn and re-tighten. I am unable to get my torque wrench with the correct socket on the bolts.
Here is a picture of both tires. I have circled the bolts I thought the TSB pointed to. What is the trick here?

Thanks

I've had the same problem for 7 months now and it started after I installed the Cusco sways. I thought it was the swaybar bushings not be lubed enough but after taking the sways off and lubing the bushings, the noise was still there. I noticed that it only comes from the front passenger side when one wheel is higher than the other, such as driving on uneven roads or pulling into sloped parking lots entrances. It sounds more like high pitched clicks instead of clunks. I couldn't even get a torque wrench in there so I still have that noise.
Yeah, even with the tire removed the torque wrench I have just wouldn't fit. So I just grabbed the wrench of the same size and just tightened it myself a little more. I hardly applied any pressure, but that seemed to do the trick. No more clunking noise....
I think it was a 14mm if I remember corretly...
