Default CD Stuck in CD player.

CD's keep getting stuck in my single disc non-bose CD player.

There seems to be something in the way on the right side, and if I push that down I can eject them, but this is only a temporary solution.

Anyone have a TSB to fix this on 03's? or a DIY fix?

Thanks.

You can certainly try taking it to the dealership and demand to have it replaced.
But my recommendation would be to get rid of those crappy stock stereo and speakers for some nice aftermarket headunit and speakers.

Ehhh, I'm going to dealership sometime tomorrow to get a replacement/price quote so this might actually be a viable option.

I'll keep you posted.

Q: "How many Aggies does it take to eject a stuck CD from a CD player?"

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery? I had a similar problem once with an '03 Toyota Matrix XR and an '04 Toyota Camry XLE. Disconnecting the batteries and then reconnecting them seemed to take care of the problem.

Interesting.

Worth a shot, I'll go take it off for ~15 minutes, thanks.

Did that work for ya? If not, I still have that barely used OEM unit waiting for a new home.
