Hi Guys.
Just a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the spluttering during warm up problem!
Changed my oil to Shell 5w40 and problem solved.
Thanks again.

Nope, oil pressure is at about 3 at idle and fluctuates with revs as you drive.

I have the same issue:

- 07' 350 Z HR with roughly 50000 km. The issue began after 15000 km driven.
- Few little jerks when starting with cold engine in the range of 1500-2100 rpm or...
- The same but followed by just one hard jerk (same conditions, same range), then it runs smooth.

Using Mobil1 5-50.

Swap to Mobil 1 0W40 New Life, or other oil with a density less than 0,85, and let us know!

I'll do it in the next maintenance service, in September...

What about swap to the original factory oil?

Anybody know what its density is?

Regards,

I don't know if you read my old posts, but my car used to sputter most of the time like crazy. But it stopped completely right after installing the Haltech.

If you have a Haltech or Osiris tuner and your car sputter please PM me. There are couple things that I want to try .

I think I have figured mine out, coil pack was going bad. Kept moving the coil pack around and followed the codes, wherever I moved the bad coil pack, the codes seemed to follow. Car has 110,000 miles on it

140 bugs, really easy to change: http://www.courtesyparts.com/kb_search_result.php?keywords=[23796]+\%28z33&cPath=714_715_716_725[/URL]

Just try to disconnect the exhaust one, and test if sputter still there.
