I was out driving and all of a sudden my car wont go pass 2500rpm!!!! , when I try to rev it pass that it just sputters.... There's no CEL which tells me that its not in limp mode, so Im confused here. Its an 03 6mt......

Update..... although no one has replied.... Just started up the car and revs up just fine??????????????? I have a feeling that the problem will come back. Has this happened to anyone? Once again let me say that at no point was the CEL on.

Same thing happened to me tonight! I washed my car though.

 

This happened to me not too long ago, but I was driving the Z kinda rough. I stopped somewhere, and turned off the car, and then started it again, and it went back to normal.

 

maybe be the start of throttle body goin bye bye.

 

clean the maf, easy fix, happened to me when I got a little bit of water in the intake. Clean it with alcohol and compressed air, easy fix.

 

this happened to me one time two years ago. Never happened to me again. Don't worry too much about it... or clean your maf.

Happens to me every time i go wide open 4th at exactly 100mph, if i go through 100mph easy everythings goes fine, when it goes into limp mode i stop the engine , take out the key and when i restart it all is fine. no indicators in the dast, nothing... i thought i had something to do with the turbo (9.5psi) but mabe not. what the...
