Does anyone know how hard it is to replace the slave on an 05? My clutch is sticking halfway when hot and my year doesn't fall under the recall =( I was thinking of just changing the fluid but if the slave cylinder is cheap I might as well replace that all at once. Has anyone done this? About how much is the slave at dealer? Thx in advance

 

I actually had the same type of issue where on very hot days or in stop and go traffic, my clutch would start to stick. I changed the fluid to a higher temp type, and swaped the stock rubber clutch line to a SS one. No problems since.

 

Which clutch fluid did yoy go with?

I used ATE Superblue for the clutch fluid.

 

I have an 03 and in hot weather my clutch makes a squeaking noise when it is low to the ground maybe an inch an a half from the floor, is that the slave cylinder? I dont really feel as though it is sticking. I'll have to give a better diagnose later

My roommate has an 05 Grand Touring and had this issue. When he replaced his slave cylinder it stopped it.
