Default Some light came on, duno wtf is it???

Can someone help me. I can't find my service manual. Anyway, driving today, doing about 145+, and this light pops on. It's under the fuel meter thing, and it looks like a tire with 2 arrows pointing in the middle of it with a dot in the middle, something like this: ( <-.-> ) and looks like tires on the bottome with tire tread, duno wtf it is, but it's aggrivating me. I shut the car off, turned it back on, it's gone. Now, again, tonight. Doing like 110, and it comes on? I have aftermarket wheels and tires, and no tire sensors. Does it have something to do with that? I have to find the documentation my car came with, it's somewhere Anyone have an idea or seen this before?

Thanks,
Bill

Default Tire Pressure

I believe it's telling you that tire pressure is "low"! Whem I put drag radials on and go to about 15lbs on the rears, it comes on everytime!! It goes off when I inflate to 28 or above.

I have aftermarket wheels and tires, no tire pressure sensors installed either. How the heck can I get rid of this. Or, am I stuck with it?

I would bet you had been driving for about 45 minutes or longer? I dont have the sensors, and thats when mine comes on. I guess it takes that long for the car to figure out it isnt getting a signal, then throwing a warning light.

Yesterday we drove about an hour and a half to the track, but it's not the first time I've driven over 45 minutes, but I don't often. It's weird because I took the car over 140mph, maybe something threw the light to go on, maybe driving over a certain mph, it checks or something, I duno. Either way, I'll get Nissan to fix it. It's not on right now, but I only drove a mile in the car today. We'll see.

Thanks all,
Bill

yeah i had that light come on too a couple times. My tire pressure on my manual gauge says 35psi.. but the sensors are reading around 30psi. The light stays on for what seems to be forever even though my pressure is higher than 28psi. I checked with two manual tire gauges and both reporting 35psi. toykilla, please keep us posted on the TSB fix. I might have to do it as well.

Default Tire Prressure

My experience tells me that anytime you change wheels and or tires you need to have the system recalibrated by Nissan for the actual pressure to match the inside guage. It takes the Servive Dept less than 5 mins. and I've never been charged. I've gone thru this at least 5 times.
