I got the CEL, Slip, VDC Off yesterday but when I try to hit the gas pedal nothing happens. The only thing I did prior was change the diff fluid. I had the battery off until today to see if it would reset and now my car will not start now. Anything like this happen to any of you guys?

Don't need a scanner :-) Follow these steps. It'll flash fast/slow for every other number of the 4 digit code. 10 flashes = zero. If there is more than one code it will do them one after another. Otherwise, it'll just keep repeating the same 4 digit code over and over 'til you turn your key off.
1. Turn the ignition to the "on" position
2. Wait three seconds, then press the gas pedal (very hard) 5 times within 5 seconds
3. Release your foot from the gas peddle for 7 seconds
4. Push the gas pedal down for 10 seconds (SES Light should start to blink)
5. Release the gas pedal for 10 seconds
6. Push the gas pedal again holding it down for 10 more seconds

It's on the bottom of the motor, at least on 03-05 models. 2 dealerships told me I needed a reflash after install....I don't know for a FACT if this is so, but it still cost me. I do know that my car had an idling issue when I would slow down afterwards, and they had to reset the idle relearn. Everything is perfect now.
Could be one of your camshaft position sensors as well.

Cost me over $300 at a dealership to have this done with the reflash. My car would not start at the dealership...lol...I was lucky it was. I could have easily done the replacement I would think...but I was out of luck with the car sitting there.

I thought the 1st dealership was yanking my chain about the reflash...so I drove to another one immediately after and was going to buy the part there (cheaper) and do it myself...then bring it back for the reflash. Then I decided I just wanted it fixed and was afraid of being stranded. So I decided to have them do the work. When I went to pull my car into the service bay it was already completely dead...lol. It was abotu $340 out the door and both dealership told me the reflash was needed. I don't trust dealerships, so I don't know 100% for sure...but I'm just glad it's fixed and I can move on....it was worth my time to have it fixed immediately.

I tried to get the code not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong? I then got an obdII scanner to see what the code is and it can't connect saying to check connection when it's good. Since I couldn't read the code I got the crank pos sensor and my car still doesn't start.
