Slip Light keeps coming on...Tire profile height?
Ok, I suspect I know the answer to this, just would like to hear from someone who might be able to verify the issue!.
Vehicle is a 2004 350Z Roadster Conv. I took the vehicle in for 2 new front tires and 4 wheel alignment.
I now have on the car
Front 235/50ZR 17 (new ones)
Rear 255/45ZR 17
I thought I had the same profile on the front tires (before they put the new ones on) as the rear, and was wondering if this new profile height is causing the issue with my traction control? What's happening is on certain places on my drive home each night (almost the same spot everytime) my slip light starts to flash and I lose power, very dangerous as it happens in a spot that I frequently overtake...! If the dealer put the wrong size tires on as I suspect they have, would this cause the issue?
Thanks

Short story - your front tires are 0.7" taller than the rears. It needs to be reversed, the fronts need to be 0.5 to 0.75 shorter than the rears.
At 2004 would have come with 225/50/17 and 235/50/17.
