Default Anyone have airbag experience?

From what I've read and gather if your bags blow, you need to replace the following:

-Seatbelt Pretensioners
-Driver Airbag
-Pass Airbag
-Pass Airbag cover
-Diagnosis Sensor Unit
-Crash Zone Sensor
-Spiral cable (clockspring)

Correct? And for an 03' the DSU must have a FH51H discriminated number.

My questions are, if my parts are only in partially and I want to install them. Will plugging in the good bag with a bad DSU cause my good bags to blow and waste money?

What is the safest way to install airbags without putting myself in harms way or potentially ruining good bags?

Must all those parts actually be replaced? The FSM say's to replace if they are "Dropped or sustain impact" I'm interpreting that as "if it is physically broken" as opposed to it being "if the trigger went", so I'm trying to see if there electronic units are reusable.

Thanks!

Always have the power off for at least 3 minutes before touching the restraint system.
Never use conventional electrical testers on the system.
Plugging a DSU with crash codes will result in a solid Airbag light.

Is there a way to reset the DSU or must we replace them?

There is a company if you google it, they guarantee if you send them your DSU they will clear the code. They say it's 100%.

I have tried 3 companies and there is one in Texas that is best.
I need to look up the info.
You can plug in all items without the DSM.
Disconnect power before you do for a few minutes.

Is there indication of rust on your unit?
If your unit was waterlogged as was your set you can get another used unit and reprogram it.
There are 2 for your 2003/2004 model coupes.
28556CD000 for 2 bags and 28556CD300 for those cars with 6 airbags.
I sent you a PM on the guy I used.
