Instrument Cluster lights went out
Hello everyone,
So today I got into my car and all of my lights in my instrument clusters were out(including both clusters). Also my stereo wont turn on. The night before they were working just fine and now nothing. I replaced all my fuses and still nothing. I called a Nissan dealer and they said it will cost me 150hr to fix the problem
So I thought I'd ask you guys first. Thanks.

There is a plastic control box under the radio, in the center dash.
I tried driving my car without it connected and the dash lights were on a long list of stuff that didn't work with it removed.
I would see if the ribbon cables coming out of that box are ok. They seem very thin and easy to damage.
IIRC you can get a peek at the cables by just removing the bottom part of the center console.

I think I know what your talking about. Its right behind the climate control buttons right? If my ribbons damaged is there a replacement for it? Could it have been loose and when I started my car it did something?

So I took apart my center console and it looks like the after market stereo was installed correctly but the previous owned had installed 2 neon lights (located under the dash for lighting the flooring) and wired them to the Stereo 12v line. I never use these but the other night I did. Do you guys think maybe it could have done some damage with caused this problem?

Hey guys I'm having a similar problem, my dash lights went out along with the gauge pod, but I still get the airbag, seatbelt, and break lights on the left pod. And the gauges still work too. But no lights ? Any ideas/solutions ?

The only ones I didn't do were then non 10 or 15 fuses under the hood.
