Default Name that noise!

Okay usually my Z makes all kind of interior noise, that I usually ignore.

However this one is driving me CRAZY!!!! It not the interior this time, it is located in the center or the rear of my car. Cant pinpoint where exactly.

IT only happens at 1750rpm. NO more, no less.

It is related to the engine speed, and not the car speed. I can accelerate and go through every gear and it will make the noise at only 1750 in everygear.

Also I must be accelerating, if I rev it free or decelerate to 1750, it doesnt make the noise.

The NOISE itself is kinda hard to explain. It kinda sounds like when you rub your finger on the rim of a glass. Like that "wom womm womm" noise.

Any clue???

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust? It could be vibrating.

Not sure about that- I have a stillen catback currently vibrating against my md swaybar at slightly higher rpm and it is pretty distinctive and not a Wom Wom Wom noise.

Sorry, meant to update this sooner, but you guys were right, it was my exhaust. It develop a crack and start to resonate at that rpm, how crazy huh?

I weld it up, went away.
