Had the vehicle for a few months, 2008 350z. In the past week I have seen the VCD Slip and Ebrake light come on and off. The VCD and Slip will come on and stay on, sometimes I can turn off and turn back on the vehicle and they will stay off. There has been alot of rain in the past few weeks. This morning there was none but the VCD and Slip light were on all the way to work.

 

Did you check brake fluid level? How are the pads? No tire replacments or any work to wheels, brakes recently?

 

No work on the wheels or brakes recently. I should note I need to pull my ebrake all the way up for it to keep the car stopped on a slope.

 

check fluid, if its not that its the pads

 

I'm having the same problem, i have my brake light and my Vdc that turn on but after about 15 mins of driving brake light goes off and VDc stays on, fml. if anyone can help us, please let us know what we can do.

 

might have something to do with the rain and lsd.. havnt had it happen since I started this thread.

 

im tellin you br0, my car had these lights intermittently coming on, until they remained on. solution was new brake pads

 

This Just started for me. The Brake fluid is a bit above Min, But it happened to me when I turned on the car then 15 min drive or I turn the car off/on then it goes away....

Gonna top off the Brake fluid and see...

 

^ Just topped off the Brake Fluid, did the job.
MY front brakes still need to be changed... I gotta see if I go nismo (non brembo) or Hawk..
