Default Just drove through a lake

I'm exaggerating of course, but at my job, the sides of the parking lot droop down, and I probably should have parked on the other side of the lot before a major rain storm. I didn't want to do it but I treaded water. The water definitely went up to the Z's body. I drove slowly through it, and had no problems driving home but I want to know if I should do anything immediately in terms of maintenance to prevent rust, damage to the exhaust, engine compartment etc. Thanks fellow Z owners.

Yeah our area got crazy amounts of rain today. I'm glad to hear it from those with experience.

Yep. Don't stress the small stuff. There are people who drive these things in much harsher climates through much worse things all the time. Part of the commitment of actually choosing to drive your car, as a vehicle, means that things like this will happen. It just means that your car is less likely to end up on Barrett Jackson in 40+ years trying to fetch 6 figures and are you really that concerned about that?

I don't want to sell it on Barrett Jackson, no, but it's in mint condition and I want to take care of it.

What I drove through today was much worse than Friday. One puddle put me underwater for a second. I guess the lesson to be learned is anything can happen to the car as long as I drive it, so I shouldn't worry about small things.

Doesn't look like a smart move to drive a 350Z through this puddle.
