Default Battery Recommendations?

Hey guys...
My battery bit the dust in my 2004 350Z ( it was the original battery!??) Just got it pulled (was that a pain in the ***!) Before I drop a new battery in, does anyone have a specific recommendation? I have read reviews about the Everstart Maxx sold at Wal-mart. Any thoughts. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Costco makes a good battery and I've used them in several cars, including the Z.

I just replaced mine with a new one from my Nissan dealer. Same as the original.

If you google, you find quite a bit of bad data about the Optima's, and the extra cost and short warranty are just icing on an already not so great cake. I've got Walmart batteries in 4 cars right now, and have never had an issue - been buying them for maybe 20 years. The warranty used to be 7 years and pro-rated, but now it's just a 3-year free replacement. Got one for my '08 Z last November, and paid ~$95.

I have a red top Optima. Save you 10 or so pounds. Love it.

I went with everstart from walmart - mainly because it was inexpensive and I know if I have a problem walmart will back it up (I hope). I've had it for 18months now and no problems...
