Default Noise at 1250RPM

Hey guys I have a slight problem. I notice a noise a few months ago with my 07 350z HR. At 1250RPMs it will make a small chatter or some type of noise it seems to be coming from the passanger side camshaft or long the front of the engine. Once the engine is over or under 1250RPMs it will stop and sometimes it doesn't make the noise at all.

mileage? it could be a loose heat shield. do you have high flo cats by any chance?

I think I may know what youre talking about, mine has been doing it for the longest time. Best way I could describe it is it sounds like a tiny newer diesel VW Jetta lol , I always get it when cruising in a parking lot in first gear

No it has stock cats on it. Its an auto so its not the throw out bearing.

Yea I hear it at a low speed at 1250RPM SOMETIMES. But did yours damage anything. on yours.

So far everything is still good, I have 116k miles without any problems

I wish I knew what it is so I can get it fixed cause it makes my car sounds like junk.

Sounds like the fuel dampener line. It is on the passenger side & makes this noise. The line get's hot or just cracks over time. I have a ping at 3200rpms & this TSB kept coming up. They even show you a diagram. I don't think it's my issue but yours sounds almost verbatim of this. Not sure if you are hearing the chatter of the diaphragm, the vacuum loss or injectors as a result. Worth a look or read.
