Default Stall out after coming down from RPMs

Hey yall,

I've had my 03 Z for about a year now with about 112k miles. Starting about a week ago I've had this issue... I'll accelerate under load, in any gear, up to about 5k RPMs, then while slowing down, I push in the clutch and the as the RPMs should drop to idle, RPMs surpass the idle limit and the car stalls out... Or when I'll downshift to slow down, rolling to a stop the car will stall out after pushing in the clutch. Pretty weird.

My thoughts are its related to a fuel issue... any suggestions?

Not sure, but it really doesn't sound like a fuel issue to me.

No recent changes/mods done... I tried doing a hard reset for the system which didn't work either. It stalls after startup sometimes as well.

My HR stalled after start up today. I'm suspecting MAF as well. Crappy weekend with my car spilling into the week

Cleaned the MAF sensors and TB. Replaced spark plugs just to cross that off the list, as i got to the last cylinder i noticed a little oil in the chamber. Ive read about this and it appears to just be the valve cover seal, no biggie. But every time i accelerate, around 4500 rpms it feels like the car just goes into limp mode, and does not feel like full power. Car starts up rough sometimes as well.. could this be fuel related?

Hey just wondering how you fixed it? the exact same thing you are describing is happening to mine. this has happened to me one day about 4 months ago and then went away. i just changed out my spark plugs and this started again. look around don't see anything wrong that i can see. no vacuum leaks or anything. i have a leak in my exhaust but i dont think that would cause this. any help would be awesome! thanks guys!

i am having the same issue with my 07 g35. been through 3 mechanics and 3000dollars and its only gotten worse. nissan reset timing chain. tried different throttle bodies. tested a bunch of stuff but didn't find anything. they quoted me a new stock engine for 17k.

idle is erratic. will hold steady then dip then rise then settle then repeats. engine stalls when disengaging the clutch intermittently, more often than not, when slowing down or accelerating quick then quickly disengaging with also cause the stall nearly every time. loss of overall power.

please please please help me

this thread talk about the issue being faulty CPS. are they talking about crankshaft sensors or camshaft sensors? https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...in-clutch.html

at the beginning my CEL wasn't on but after the 3rd mechanic(nissan) it remained on. im going to try to take it to advanced auto tomorrow to get a code reading.

take note that i never had this issue until my engine began overheating in slow traffic and i had the 1st mechanic(home mechanic) replace the radiator(stillen that i ordered) and a fan(a cheap 150$ one he ordered) that nissan said was backfeeding causing problems. replaced with oem 650$ fans

any replies are greatly appreciated as ive been battling this issue for the past 6 months

I have the same exact issue you have with the overheating and all, did you find out what's causing it?
