keep blowing ignition fuse when accelerating hard or downshifting + slip light
I hate that my first thread here is about a problem with my z.
2003 touring 6mt
I've been reading here and I'm active on the facebook group, but not until now I needed advice.
I'm mechanically inclined and work on my cars but when it comes to electricity I'm not the best help.
FACTS:
Three days ago I was pulling into a parking lot and downshifted from 3th to 2nd and the car died.
After some troubleshooting found the ignition fuse behind the battery blown
Last night I was making a right turn and again, downshifted from 3th to 2nd and the same fuse blew.
Today in the morning I was driving on the freeway and the slip light turned on and lost all power (got new wheels and tires installed last night 245/40/18 front 465/35/18 rear.
After releasing the throttle car came back to normal.
Today in the morning AGAIN, shifted from 3th to 2nd to make a right turn and SAME fuse blew again.
I did some research and found some issues with aftermarket wheels and the tcs so I put a new fuse, turned tcs OFF and drove, drove for a block, hard, and when I came to a stop the car DIED again, and YES...Ignition fuse BLOWN.
The only aftermarket on the car is a stereo that works normal since I got it, a mishimoto intake and the wheels.
I really don't know what to do now any advice will be greatly appreciated

The car keeps shouting down, check ur spark plugs for oil, make sure you don't have any leaks. The engine may be shutting itself down to avoid damage. Also, stop being a cheap skate and take to a Nissan dealer for a diagnosis and pay the $100.00 fee. If you can fix it... Then you know your fixing the suggested issue/s!
(Issue 2)
Reason I mentioned the spark plugs was my old 04 had engine shut down down to leaking valve cover gaskets. Good luck and report back
Just a shot in the dark here but since this happens only under the circumstances you mention, could you have an aftermarket wiring problem, like a bare wire that is grounding/shorting out when you turn or drive the car hard? Battery cables tight? Fuses only blow if the voltage is exceeded or interrupted, they don't blow in order to shut the car down. Only guess I have....

Fuses do not blow to shut the car down.
Battery cables shouldn't be an issue. A bad connection would result in no power response, not a blown fuse.
This is most likely a short. Tracing will likely be a b*tch, but the fix should be relatively simple. Download the FSM and look at the wiring diagrams to find the general area.

Whoever had the car before probably did a very sloppy wiring job for your radio. How long have you had the car?
I would rip out the radio and look into making sure it is cleanly and properly installed.
I'm trying to remember....but I think at one point in time, my car used to lose radio reception the harder I accelerated. Figured it was interference with the ignition somehow. So it could maybe be linked to bad wiring for your radio.
Good luck

I've had the car only a week, not enough time to play with it with work and everything, I already changed the oil, gear oil for the diff and the tranny.
Cleaned the interior and that's about it.
This weekend I'll remove the stereo and see if i find a rats nest or something.
Thanks in advance
I'll post with results because I hate it when people ask questions, get an answer figure out the problem but never care enough to post how

I understand your frustration.
You are not receiving many replies because the problem you describe is very rare. In fact the replies I read replying to your original thread are poor, inaccurate, and mostly unhelpful guesses.
Obviously some of members want to help you, but in fact they are not helpful.
