Noticed an electronic buzzing from the engine bay. It's consistent not like the fuel injectors, but very similar to that and it can be heard 10 feet or so away from the car. Anyone have a guess with this information? I can't locate the exact area, I know it is coming from front of the car

 

Throttle body if it is bit of a high pitched sound and only when the key is on but motor not running. Perfectly normal.

 

I can hear it with the engine running. I am going to troubleshoot by turning off the AC and stuff... just wierd because I noticed it very recently. My right HID headlight also flickers so maybe it's the light making the noise?

 

A flickering HID will produce noise.

 

Here is a video- What is this noise coming from? Strange noise coming from engine. You can tell the noise is more pronounced when the camera is moved towards the front wheel well. You can hear it from each wheel well, sounds like it is coming from under the car. Happens at idle after revving the engine a little bit

 

Maybe someone installed a supercharger on your car and you didn't notice.

 

Bad ballast in your HID.

Could be...the right headlight is flickering...But why could I hear it as loud on the left side tire? Seems like revving the engine triggers the sound too

 

I have the same issue, makes sense that it could be the ballast because I only hear it when my headlights are on. However, the volume on my head unit also must be greater than 0. Headlights on, head unit at 0, no buzz. Turn up volume, buzz. Any thoughts on that one?

 

It doesn't always stay on I hear it momentarily when I rev up the engine- I hear it slightly once the rpms immediately drop getting off the gas. Such a weird noise
