Default Front wheel brakes by itself VDC off slip on

Been having this issue since i bought the car and finaly getting the time to look at the issue so here it goes.

2003 350 touring

When i start the car and start rolling the front right wheel will apply the brakes by itself, lock up the wheel and let go, lock up again and let go and on the third time around the VDC off light and slip will turn on and stay on.
The abs light does not come on at any point and no CEL either.

If i turn off vdc before i start moving i avoid all of this ( which is what ive been doing but anyways id like to solve the problem)

Im running 18's that are within tolerance for the vdc but still checked to make sure with a friends 2003 350z and it never gave him any issues.

Any help is appreciated , ive looked around the forums for similar issues without any luck.

I know you said you are running 18 inch wheels, but tell us what size tires you have front and back. --Spike

If you are in fact on 18” wheels, the sizes you report are wholly wrong.

The front should be something like 245/40-18”

The rear should be something like 275/40-18”

The sizes you mention are very wrong.

If the rolling diameter of your front tires are larger than your rears, it will throw off your VDC system. This could lead to VDC trying to activate and the problems you're experiencing. Check the tire sizes when you get back and let us know.

245/40-18 is the correct size for the front. The rear would need to be taller.

When you get home the middle of this month, post the actual tire sizes and I'll try to help. --Spike

Your fronts and rears are close to the same overall diameter with the fronts slightly shorter. So, you should be OK with those sizes. I have a 2003 with VDC and run an all-square winter tire/wheel setup.

I think you should follow-up on terrasmak's suggestion.

I don't see anything wrong with the sizes you have. I like 235/45 front & 275/40 rear better but what you have shouldn't be a problem..

I would immediately have your car checked cause that sounds like a dangerous situation.

What would you have checked?

Just asking because you said: "I would immediately have your car checked cause that sounds like a dangerous situation."

These kind of brake problems are usually associated with wiring problems. I'd suggest pulling codes from the ABS section to gain any information there. Next check the wheel speed sensors on all corners to make sure they are properly installed and functioning. After that, it gets more complicated (ask me how I know) and you may need to check the cabin harness for breaks or shorts.
