Default Overheating

Hi recently my 2003 350z had a problem with the waterpump. I changed that and since it was a used car i decided to change a few other parts too. Ended up changing the thermostat, temp sensor, and radiator. Then bled out the air and everything ran fine and hot air in cabin at idle. After about 10 minutes of driving i turned on the cold air and the engine temperature went up almost to the top. Put it back on hot air and temp went back down but stayed slightly over half way. Revving wont make it go up just changing the air does. Does that mean theres still air in the system or did i put something in wrong?

There's still air in the system. Try using a Lisle funnel and a long idle/bleed time.

In addition to this solid ^^^ advice, I found it enormously helpful to pull the "Bleeder-valve" in front of the heater core in engine bay and literally pour coolant until all air bubbles are gone. GL!

hey so I tried bleeding out the coolant and am pretty sure I did it wrong because now every time I turn the car on it over heats in less then a min me and my friend tried getting rid of the air in the engine but it seems impossible I’m thinking of taking it to a mechanic near my house so they could probably bleed it because while I turned the car it sounded like some computer parts broke in the process I’m very worried I’ve done something wrong and completely ****ed my car up over something so small——-please help

Definitely just take the vehicle to a reputable mechanic. You most likely did not **** up your whole car or break any computer parts.
