Clutch pedal problem after sitting 17 months

After sitting in my heated basement for 17 months, I started her up and noticed immediately that the clutch pedal went straight to the floor. She had no problems before she sat. Pedal does not return without help.
Can sitting or not using the car cause something like this?

The clutch, pressure plate, transmission, and slave were all replaced by Z motorsports about 3 years ago.

ALSO, are some brands of master cylinders and slaves better than others? or Where is the best place to get rebuild kits?

When I changed mine, I just went with a Centric slave cylinder, since I didn't think there was really anything too fancy about it and it was pretty cheap without having to rebuild it. For the master, I replaced OEM with either Wilwood or Tilton (can't remember which one). I also changed the reservoir so I could use my Motive power bleeder and bleed it by myself without an extra set of hands. I followed these two write-ups:
