Default Soft top help

Im having an issue to where my nissan 350 soft top will not even try to lower. no seats moving forward or windows rolling down. the 5th bow motor is good. any ideas or what it could be other than the generic “check fuses”???? thank yall

Probably a dumb question, but gotta ask, is your foot on the brake when you're trying to start the open sequence?

Yeah i know how its supposed to lower it just wont even attempt to. car started, in park, unlatched, foot on break. no sounds or anything come from vehicle

Does the indicator lamp under the fuel gauge illuminate when you press the switch?

Sounds like an issue with the soft top control unit or possibly the switch itself if you've verified all of the fuses are good. There are two fuses for the power to the control unit. One of them is a 40A in the engine bay and the other is a 10A in #12 in the below diagram.



Can you verify that the soft top control unit is getting power and grounded?

Here are the diagrams to the all the locations of everything necessary to make the top function. The control unit is located under the tonneau/storage lid cover and it needs to be raised in order to access it.
