Service Update
Finally took my car into the dealership for some updates. They are fixing the cupholder as we speak... I'll post again when I know what was actually broke this time.

ok, here's the scoop. the dealership replaced the cup holder assembly (again). It's a part that cost $108, for those of you that wanted to know. but it is covered under warranty.
