I wanted to, at least that was my original plan... But that is not going to happen now.. (Heads are still having work done, don't ask.. )

At the track I will just have a measly 500

Guys: I wanted to keep the original spots reserved for our forum guys (I do not particularly car about what car you want to race). Then we can invite friends with other cars if there are open slots. (I will be the exception, as I am bringing 1 friend with me).

Honestly right now, there do not appear to be too many open slots. Let me review the cost and see what we can do to get more of our guys in. For each person over the list it will be $100 for the day, OR we can split the cost as a group to help other guys out. Up to you all.

I'd be willing to split. That would be the most equitable way to handle this.

Odds are that 100 percent will not show. Happens all the time.

I completely agree, but if I over book and everyone shows.... Somehow we would have to come up with the extra $100 for each person.. It would not be fair to turn people away.

This is something I am paying/organizing and it's a lot of money for all of us and there appears to be a good list of people that want to participate. I would hate to tell people they can't come because we are full and then have people not show. Those slots could be used by people that REALLY want to try this out.

I do not want to be seen as an @$$ or anything, but trying to be fair and keep this economical for everyone.

I think while this is only for run, some of the more competitive guys will be using this for bragging rights.. For a lot of us this will be a chance to learn some stuff, maybe improve on our launches and get a better feel for our cars. For you experts, this will give you a chance to dial your cars in get the best #'s you can.

I need to get my launch and reaction time down better before I start worrying about control arms, slicks and stuff like that.

You are very gracious to organize this event. I say pay in advance. Money due no later than such-and-such day. No refunds.

However Brent wants to do it is fine with me.. I think he's giving us all a great oppertunity. I'm willing to pay upfront if it helps him out. I hope the cost doesn't climb much higher than $50.00, I'm on a tight budget.

I hope all the N/A guys show up =).

Id be willing to reserve my spot by paying in advance-I think its a great idea-Brent have a paypal account? This way we know whos serious and who's not. If your on the fence send $50 and have a back up (with a Z) ready to step in your place. What do you guys think? I would also be willing to up the price to have some fellow friends and car enthusiats come out and join the fun.

I do not have paypal and I am not around town that often.
I might be able to get a friend to use his account though. Let me see.

+1 I don't mind paying a bit more / splitting it as a list.

Looking forward to this event, I haven't seen any of you guys since Fall Detail Day

I'd rather pay in advance myself. Call it a deposit or whatever. I requested the day off, but for some reason if I have to miss it due to work, atleast I payed so Brent doesn't have to cover for me.

BTW - I'm home!

Is it still on?

And what about pre-paying? I'm down to pre-pay... I'm not missing this day for anything.
